Early mornings and three year olds...

April 6, 2018

My energy levels are horrible right now. It might seem counterintuitive but I’m trying getting up at 6am to get a couple of studio hours in before everyone else needs me. Hopefully that’ll mean I can take a guilt free afternoon nap while the 3 year old naps. Usually I try and paint while she sleeps but lately I’ve felt like cement at this time of the afternoon. And I just can’t concentrate enough to make good work. Here’s hoping the new schedule can help!

7:18am colour study done. Miss 3 comes out to the studio to tell me its time to come inside... I rushed the last bit and feel like I ruined it but on reflection and after the cortisol has left my system...its ok. Its a study after all.
